Our doctors and staff are well-versed in veterinary vaccines and can provide you with the best advice to help your pet live a longer life.

Vaccines can help prevent our pets from a variety of dangerous infectious infections. Vaccines for deadly diseases have saved millions of pets over the years, and they have nearly eliminated some fatal diseases that were once common.

The Rabies vaccine is required for both cats and dogs. The DHPP vaccination, which protects against Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus in dogs, is also considered a core vaccine. Leptospirosis vaccination is also essential for dogs. FVRCP is an essential vaccine that protects cats against Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, and Panleukopenia. After puppyhood and kittenhood, we often suggest the Distemper and FVRCP immunizations every three years. Our veterinarians suggest the DHPP and FVRCP vaccines for every dog and cat with a few exceptions.
