Our dog was in extreme pain and having difficulty walking. We just moved to the area and had not established ourselves with a local vet yet. My wife used to manage a vet clinic, so we are very familiar with the industry.

We took our shepherd mix Sunny here after calling and I was quite pleased! They fit me in same day even with a full schedule with minimal waiting and the price was very fair (especially for a mountain vet), the staff was extremely compassionate, and we will be returning to them as our primary vet.

If you’re deciding on a vet in the Truckee area, we whole heartedly recommend Doctors Office for Pets!

We saw Dr Amanda Stuart on a Saturday morning last week…..she was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and a blessing!! She was kind, thorough and we just love her attention to detail. Our Willow (English Springer Spaniel) had only been ill for a few days, and she treated us like family. I can’t praise Dr. Kang and her team enough! 10 days after our son was born our dog got in a serious accident. Dr. Kang took exceptional care of not only our sweet pup, but also the sleep deprived us. She and her team called to check in on our dog’s recovery, were available for calls with questions, and called various pet hospitals to find the best place in quality of care and rate for the required follow up surgery. She gave us the highest quality of care, while understanding and working with us on financial considerations. If anyone is in need of a vet for their fur baby, go to Doctor’s Office for Pets!
